"Mind, Brain and Culture from a Generalized Darwinian Perspective." David Sloan Wilson, an anthropologist from Binghamton University, is featured in an Emory Center for Mind, Brain and Culture lecture. He will discuss how a returned to generalized Darwinism has profound implications for our understanding of the mind, brain and culture. At 4 pm in the 1432 Clifton Road Building, Room 230.

"Understanding, Remembering and Communicating Threatening Events." Deepu Murty, a psychologist from University of Oregon, is featured in an Emory Center for Mind, Brain and Culture lecture. He will discuss how threat alters how we represent information. At noon in Whitehead Auditorium.

"Collard Greens in the Moroccan Oasis." Anthropologist Bronwen Powell will discuss her research into the role of trans-Sahara trade routes in the spread of an African diaspora food. At 3:30 pm in PAIS, room 225.

"The Care of Foreigners: How Immigrant Physicians Changed U.S. Healthcare." Emory's Health Storytelling series will feature journalist Maryn McKenna in conversation with Eram Alam, whose first book explores the enduring consequences of post-colonial migration of physicians from Asia to the United States.
